Nammerphor?

Easter Sunday, 9.30am it’s a warm day and I’m out in the front garden. I’m working so have just got my shorts on and getting some sun on my body. A neighbour walks by, we speak every few weeks or so and I don’t know him all that well. “putting a bit of weight on there Dave” he says and continues walking on!

I wouldn’t mind but I have not even started on the Easter egg yet, I wish him a happy easter too. I get out on the bike that afternoon!

I’ve been decorating this past week - plastering, painting, wiring etc etc. And it turns out plastering is not as easy as it looks, I just about got the hang of it by the last meter of the last wall, so as long as Kathy’s interior design skills place pictures and wardrobes in just the right strategic places all will be well.

Having said that it is much improved on my dado rail fitting a few years back – I started out wood in one hand super strong instant grab glue in the other and made my way around the room. Once I got back to the starting point there was a 6 inch drop between start and finish. It stayed like that for quite a few years, damn that glue!

What’s a nammerphor? It’s for knocking nails in of course.

Right, where did I put that easter egg...
