another year older

Funny things birthdays, you spend all year the same age then you age a year in just one day!
I once ( and probably still) think that with human DNA mapping, stem cell research and all the medical advancements going on we would all live well in to our hundreds. The thing with that though is you get the same amount of youth, the same amount of middle age but loads more decrepit old age!

In an effort to beat the system I'm going for more youth, so today I'm off for a snowboard lesson (down wid da kids, kickin it), then off to the cinema to watch the latest kids cartoon film (pick'n'mix of course), maybe a kids meal at KFC finishing the day by being refused entry into the local boozer for being under age. So if you see a slightly paunchy middle aged bloke in a hoodie hanging around the off-license in Ampthill wish me a happy birthday.
